The Opportunity
This Account Executive role is pivotal. The company is scaling its enterprise sales motion and needs a proven closer to own Mid-Market and Enterprise deals end-to-end. You will be one of the dedicated AEs on a team where top performers routinely earn $350K+ with uncapped commission — and where the path to Regional Sales Director is just 18 months.
What You'll Do
- Own and drive full-cycle SaaS sales from prospecting to close for Mid-Market and Enterprise accounts, targeting $100K+ deals
- Build and manage a pipeline through outbound prospecting, networking, and industry events
- Conduct discovery calls, product demonstrations, and executive-level presentations to CIOs, CISOs, Chief Privacy Officers, and VP-level stakeholders
- Develop and execute strategic account plans for Fortune 1000 target accounts
- Navigate complex procurement cycles involving legal, IT, security, and privacy stakeholders across 3-6 month sales cycles
- Collaborate with Solutions Engineering to deliver tailored product demonstrations that address specific compliance needs
- Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and CRM hygiene in HubSpot
- Represent the company at industry conferences and events
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- At least 2 years of full-cycle B2B SaaS sales in the Mid-Market or Enterprise segment at a product company (not services)
- Proven track record selling complex technical SaaS solutions to C-level executives at Fortune 1000 companies
- Hunter mentality — you self-generate 70%+ of your pipeline through outbound prospecting
- Located within 1-hour commute of the Greenville, DE or Tysons, VA office (or willing to relocate; company-paid relocation provided)
- Ability to work from the office 2-3 days per week
- US work authorization (no visa sponsorship)
Nice-to-Haves
- 8+ years of professional experience after graduation
- Sales background in data privacy, data security, or cybersecurity
- Experience selling to CIOs and CISOs
- Understanding of GDPR, CCPA, and global privacy regulations
