What you'll do
- Lead full-cycle accounting for key international subsidiaries, including multi-currency journal entries, intercompany settlements and FX impact analysis.
- Identify "automation-first" opportunities within the international accounting operations process and collaborate with Finance Transformation teams to deploy AI agents and automated workflows to reduce manual procedures.
- Partner with local service providers and internal tax/legal teams to oversee statutory filings, local compliance and local GAAP to US GAAP reconciliations.
- Act as a strategic consultant to FP&A and Treasury, providing insights into international OpEx trends.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, SOX controls and relevant regulatory requirements for assigned areas.
- Support external audits by providing accurate and timely information.
- Perform special projects, as needed, to support our rapid growth.
What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, a related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience in a public accounting and/or corporate environment, preferably at a technology or high-growth company operating in a SOX environment.
- Big 4 accounting firm (or similar) experience.
- CPA is highly preferred.
- A "builder" mindset with a proven ability to strategically leverage generative AI and automation tools to enhance operational effectiveness and solve complex accounting challenges.
- Experience with ERP systems (preferably Oracle) and proficiency in working with large datasets in Excel.
- Experience supporting audits (external and/or internal), including the ability to respond to auditor requests with organized, well-supported deliverables.
