The Director of Communications will set the approach; you will run the programme day to day
- Manage ongoing relationships with priority analysts and industry influencers: briefings, inquiry responses, and regular contact
- Coordinate analyst briefing schedules and ensure the right people from product, commercial, and communications are prepared and aligned
- Track coverage and citations across analyst outputs; report on how Elliptic is described relative to competitors and feed intelligence back to the business
Government affairs and lobbying support
- Day-to-day coordination with external lobbying and government affairs agency: briefings, scheduling, and keeping workstreams on track
- Support the drafting of materials in support of government affairs activity including submissions, briefing notes, position papers, and correspondence
- Monitor relevant regulatory and policy developments (MiCA, FIT21, FATF guidance, and others) with the Government, Policy and Regulations team (GPRG)
- Support preparation for regulatory consultations, parliamentary or congressional engagements, and policy events as required
Communications support
- Support the Director of Communications on ad hoc projects including crisis communications, executive media preparation, and major announcements
What you will achieve in the first 6 months
- Have the PR agency working to strategy, with a proactive media calendar in place and measurable improvement in tier-one coverage quality
- Established baseline metrics across PR, executive visibility, and AR, so there's a clear picture of where the program started and where it's heading
- Landed Elliptic's first structured analyst briefings with the highest-priority contacts identified in the mapping exercise
- Each priority executive has a clear, distinct point of view on LinkedIn that is recognisably theirs, and that is visibly influencing how Elliptic is talked about in the market
- Working confidently to execute the 6-12 month lobbying plan with the GPRG team

Our ideal candidate has
- Operated in a hands-on media relations roles across global markets
- Demonstrable track record of securing tier-one coverage in financial, technology, and/or regulatory press
- PR agency background, you understand how agencies work and how to get the most from them
Analyst relations
- Hands-on experience engaging with analysts in a structured way, briefing, inquiry responses, relationship management
- Experience building or significantly contributing to an AR programme
Executive visibility
- Proven experience developing and managing LinkedIn content programmes for senior executives, ghostwriting, voice capture, and editorial cadence
- Strong byline writing capability; comfortable working at pace with senior stakeholders
- Experience building or maintaining executive message houses
Digital PR & AI fluency
- Understanding of how digital PR influences SEO and LLM visibility, proven in practice, not just theory
- Familiarity with GEO/LLM concepts and their application to B2B PR
- Comfortable using AI tools daily to improve speed and quality of output, this could be in your content production, or for research and automation of workflows, but we expect our candidates to demonstrate how AI is part of your daily life.
- Appetite to stay ahead of how AI changes the communications landscape
Sector & global experience
- Background in fintech, regtech, compliance, financial services, cybersecurity, or enterprise SaaS
- Proven ability to work across US, EMEA, and APAC media markets
- Comfort in a complex regulatory environment where accuracy and nuance matter
Writing & communication
- Exceptional written English, able to distil complex technical or regulatory content into clear, compelling narratives
- Strong editorial judgement: you know a good story, and you know when something is not ready
Skills and attributes
- Confident stakeholder management, you can brief and advise C-suite executives, align with product marketing and content, manage agencies simultaneously without losing momentum
- Data-driven, you use coverage metrics, SOV, LLM visibility, backlink quality, and LinkedIn engagement to evaluate performance, not just clip counts
- Highly organised with strong project management skills; comfortable running multiple workstreams in a fast-moving environment
- Curious and proactive, you actively track industry developments, competitive moves, and the evolving PR/AI landscape
- Self-starter who can operate with autonomy and build new programmes from scratch, not just maintain existing ones
Bonus Points for
- Experience of working with Govt lobbying agencies
- Experience in the crypto, blockchain, or digital assets sector
- Understanding of AML, financial crime compliance, or crypto regulation
- Experience working alongside or briefing government affairs or policy teams
