What you’ll do
- Draft, review and negotiate a variety of agreements including but not limited to commercial transactions, SAs, DPAs, NDAs, and other commercial matters with domestic and international parties including clients, partners, and vendors
- Assist in management and maintenance of company’s standard contract templates and playbooks that streamline the contracting process, reduce friction with customer, while mitigating risk for the company
- Ensure compliance with security and privacy regulations and standards, securities regulations, corporate governance requirements and other relevant legal and statutory requirements
- Proactively address evolving regulatory and governance compliance environment, including changes in laws, regulations, regulatory focus areas and industry best practices
- Provide oversight and leadership for all legal needs of the business, advising across business function
Experience and Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience (in house or law firm), 3+ years of relevant SaaS commercial experience
- Proven success working effectively across business units and internal functions to efficiently resolve complex business and risk management issues while considering many non-legal variables, such as culture, brand, communications, government relations, tax, revenue recognition, insurance, finance and other functional areas.
- Experience negotiating B2B SaaS, specifically in software security and compliance
- Experience working in a start-up atmosphere is highly desirable
- Prior Experience building out and leading in-house legal teams that are committed to strategic differentiation and high quality execution
- Proficient with G-Suite (Gmail, Google Docs, etc), DocuSign, Slack
- Working knowledge of scalable a contract database solution, and general working knowledge of finance invoicing systems, and project management software
- High technical proficiency and critical thinking skills to ensure we're thoughtfully challenging ourselves in the design of our internal systems
- Product counseling, privacy, and cybersecurity experience or interest is a plus

This role will receive a competitive base salary, benefits, and stock, typically in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). The expected salary range for this role is between £110,500 - £136,500, subject to change.
A variety of factors are considered when determining someone’s leveling and compensation–including a candidate’s professional background and experience. This range may be modified in the future and final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed above.
