THE ROLE
Within the Corporate IT Infrastructure team, the IT Infrastructure & Digital Workspace Administrator/Engineer focuses on the administration, security, optimization, and continuous delivery of core IT systems, corporate applications infrastructure, employee endpoints, and digital productivity platforms. This position enables other teams by fostering a self-service model, empowering users to be autonomous. Automating infrastructure tasks, workflows and integrations is an essential tool to enable our users.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Optimize Service Continuity: ensure service level and uptime for infrastructure components, including upgrades for corporate applications (SAP, Sailpoint). Optimize VM and Cloud resource usage to requirements, enabling Azure Virtual Desktops (AVD), and ensuring proper backups.
- Enable a Simple and Self-Service Experience: empower users by implementing simple, documented, and self-service workflows to use their desktops, allowing them to fulfill their mission in the organization. Use device management tools such as JAMF and Intune, administer and support key productivity platforms, including Google Workspace and Slack.
- Automate Workflows and Integrations: use administrative and systems automation tools, such as PowerShell, Azure Automation to integrate applications and automated workflows.
- Incident Response: Serve as a top contributor in resolving issues and incidents, quickly mitigating high-impact events.
- Strategic Alignment: drive simplification and standardization, aligned with company and group policies on security and compliance.
WHO YOU ARE
- Extensive training / Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related STEM field
- Demonstrate deep technical expertise and the capacity to learn new skills quickly.
- Ideally have know-how in some of the following areas: Azure Cloud resources; Windows ActiveDirectory; Windows and Linux system management; Endpoint management; Google Workspace; Terraform.
- Experienced in DevOps environment, as a system administrator.
- Have a background in Software development or system scripting experience.
- Curious to adopt AI as automation tool to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Demonstrate strong collaboration and teamwork skills, applying technical know-how to unlock complex problems.
- Employ strategic thinking to align solutions with broader organizational context, focusing on business impact and long-term IT strategy.
