🎯 What You Will Do
As a Data Analyst Intern, you will have a cross-functional role and collaborate closely with teams to understand our data and develop insights.
- Continuous learning and improvement: As "never stop learning" is one of our values, you will continuously grow your skills and knowledge, accompanied by an experienced Data Analyst who will support you in mastering analytical methods and the tools of our data stack, helping you develop new expertise.
- Data loading and transformation: You will be involved in loading and transforming the data as we have a “full stack” approach in Data at Joko. You will closely collaborate with experienced Data Analysts, who will guide and support you throughout these tasks. While you’ll receive assistance on data engineering parts, this role will give you exposure to the entire lifecycle of data processes.
- Deep-dive analyses: You will explore and analyse data to uncover trends, patterns, and potential issues that will help in the decision-making processes across all teams.
- Building data solutions: You will contribute to the design and implementation of internal data solutions, such as forecasting or scoring models and decision-support tools that turn data into actionable opportunities for other teams and help them make better decisions at scale.
- Reporting and data visualization: You will participate in creating content, such as dashboards and charts, using our data visualization tool. You will be involved in defining the report's content and constructing dashboards and charts to effectively communicate data-driven findings to stakeholders.
- Interactions with stakeholders: You will work hand-in-hand with them to understand their needs, collect their feedback, and also evangelize data usage to help them make more informed decisions.
👀 Who We're Looking For
- Experience: You are seeking your end-of-study internship. Having done an internship in Data and/or in a demanding environment (e.g., M&A, consulting) is a plus.
- Education: You graduated from a top-tier engineering, business, or applied science program.
- Mindset: You have an entrepreneurial mindset, you like challenges, you welcome feedback and you are willing to get better every day to reach excellence.
- Problem-solving & Analytical skills: You love solving complex problems and analyzing data.
- Coding knowledge: Familiarity with at least one programming language is expected. Mastering SQL and Python is not mandatory, as you can still learn when joining, but it’s definitely a plus.
- Business acumen: You can understand the needs of your business stakeholders and get the big picture of how the business is running.
- Communication: You know how to present your conclusions clearly and concisely (written and oral).
- Languages: You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
