Raytheon is seeking successful candidate to perform any combination of the following tasks in support of the evaluation/rework/repair of various product lines including (but not limited to) RF electronics, electronics assemblies, high-power distribution assemblies, electromechanical assemblies, cable/harness assemblies, electronics rack-mount systems/chassis, circuit card assemblies, and other similar-complexity assemblies.
•
Evaluate failed electrical assemblies, products, components, and software – using test and measurement equipment to determine the root cause of failure down to the component level – with strong emphasis on evaluation hands-on experience.
•
Electronic troubleshooting through technical experience and knowledge – NOT through the use of pre-written step-by-step procedures
•
Strong sense of ownership and self-driven to meet or exceed deliverable expectations
•
Work with senior Electrical Engineering, test technicians, and product Quality Assurance towards evaluating, repairing, and moving failed assemblies through established Repair & Return processes
•
Read and fully interpret Assembly Drawings and Schematics
•
Maintain control of all Electro-static Sensitive Device (ESD) precautions and processes – ensuring full compliance to established ESD processes
•
Support the culture of Continuous Process Improvements (CPI) Projects
This will be a 1st shift, onsite role.
•
HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
•
Electrical/electronic evaluation/trouble-shooting experience
•
Experience with use of test and evaluation measurement equipment, including (but not limited to): DMMs, Oscilloscopes, Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, RF equipment, etc.
•
Electrical Test Technical School Degree
•
4+ Electrical Test Technician experience
•
Radio Frequency, troubleshooting, experience
•
DOD contract experience
