- Ensuring figures are accurate, well-documented and always ready for scrutiny : you will own the organization of the finance function in these subsidiaries and the financial integration of potential acquired companies.
- Structuring and managing relationships with local accounting firms by defining the working model in each country (monitoring and challenging their output) and ensuring full consistency with Alan's central reporting scope.
- Challenging, improving and automating financial processes, from writing controlling specifications for our Financial Data team to identifying improvement points in the monthly reporting cycle and driving concrete improvements
- Partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure financial data is well understood and leveraged for decision-making, and owning specific financial streams transversally across geographies
- Contributing to scaling the team, including participating in hiring and onboarding future team members.
⭐️ Qualifications ⭐️
- Financial expertise: At least 5 years of experience in accounting and how financial statements work across multiple entities or geographies; proven experience coordinating external accounting firms and/or overseeing multi-country financial reporting; background in a top audit firm and/or a fast-paced scale-up. Familiarity with consolidation and financial services are a bonus.
- Languages: Fluent in English; additional European language(s) are a strong plus.
- Analytical mindset: Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information and communicate it clearly to non-finance stakeholders. Basic SQL or AI tools knowledge is a bonus.
- Soft skills: Rigorous, autonomous, proactive and solution-oriented. Strong communicator with both internal teams and external partners. Strong ability to work autonomously, move forward independently and make clear decisions even in ambiguous situations.
- Familiarity with insurance accounting or regulated financial entities is a strong plus.
