Your day-to-day responsibilities
- Responsible for activation, verification and delivery of the analysis output to customers in accordance with SOP while adhering to the established quality standard and service level agreement
- Actively participates in live operations, conducting real-time NatCat analysis and delivery activities while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
- Performs quality checks and provides feedback on errors in analysis and delivery; contributes to quality improvement through documenting errors and outages
- Follows and applies up to date standard processes and procedures to ensure quality and consistency; suggests improvements and collaborates on implementing them
- Manages own workload effectively, reprioritising based on changing requirements; cooperates with the Delivery Lead on planning and prioritising work
- Proactively raises issues and suggests resolutions, resolving small scale operational issues independently; supports tasks from R&D and other teams including testing, new feature feedback, and event re-analysis
- Communicates effectively with the team on progress, issues, and updates; maintains accurate records of work and decisions; follows established customer communication processes
- Participates in a rotating on-call weekend schedule (approximately two weekends per month), with compensation per company policy
What we’re looking forMust haves
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geography, Geomatics, GIS, Remote Sensing, Environmental Science, or a related field
- Hands-on experience with GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS) and remote sensing tools for geospatial analysis
- Ability to deliver accurate outputs under time pressure in a fast-paced, real-time operational environment
- Experience delivering work to stakeholders in a structured, process driven environment
- Clear written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to convey technical findings to different stakeholders
- Collaborative working style with experience in cross-functional or distributed teams
Nice to haves
- Familiarity with natural catastrophe concepts such as wildfire, wind event, or related perils
- Prior experience in an operational role with defined workflows and SLAs (for example, GIS operations, data delivery, NOC, field operations, or similar)
- Python scripting for geospatial or data processing tasks
- Experience with SAR or radar based remote sensing data
- Exposure to AI tools, databases, and AWS
