Your role
Your key duties and responsibilities
Financial consolidation
- Support the group financial consolidation process
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of consolidated financial statements
- Assist in the preparation of consolidation adjustments and reporting packages
Accounting & financial reporting
- Support general ledger accounting activities, including recording, classifying, and reconciling transactions
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Contribute to closing activities and financial reporting processes
Financial analysis
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities to improve business performance
- Support internal reporting and performance monitoring
Compliance & controls
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and local accounting regulations
- Support internal and external audit activities when required
Systems & process improvement
- Support the implementation and improvement of ERP systems and accounting processes
- Contribute to the optimization of financial reporting tools and workflows
Planning & Control
- Collaborate with other departments in the budgeting and forecasting process
Your skills, experience, and qualifications required
- Master’s degree in finance, Accounting, or Economics (with honors)
- 3–5 years of experience in Accounting or Finance
- Experience in Big4 firms or international companies is considered a plus
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting principles
- Experience with financial analysis, reporting, and performance measurement
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office tools
- Knowledge of SAP modules is a plus
- Knowledge of consolidation reporting tools is a plus
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency in Italian and English
- Availability to travel weekly to the company location in Emilia Romagna
