The Role
You will be the primary HR strategist for our world-class engineers and product visionaries. This is not a "background" HR role; you will be in the room with R&D leaders, driving organizational design and ensuring our talent strategy keeps pace with our rapid product evolution.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Strategic R&D Partnership: Serve as the lead HR consultant for the U.S. Product and Engineering teams, aligning people strategy with ambitious technical roadmaps.
- Organizational Design: Partner with technical leadership to identify and execute HR interventions in organizational structure, employee retention, and high-impact engagement.
- Performance Engineering: Drive the end-to-end pay and performance cycle, ensuring technical teams have clear goal alignment, constructive feedback loops, and equitable compensation.
- Talent Analytics: Utilize deep-dive HR metrics and data analysis to identify trends and provide the data-driven insights necessary for continuous improvement.
- Managerial Coaching: Provide expert guidance on complex employee relations and conflict resolution, helping technical managers lead with empathy and excellence.
- Cross-Functional Synergy: Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and Compensation to master workforce planning and succession for critical technical roles.
- Culture Stewardship: Lead initiatives for employee experience, ESG, and the development of the next generation of technical leaders.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field. SHRM or HRCI certification is a strong plus.
- Tech-Driven HR Experience: 8+ years of progressive HR experience, with a specific focus on supporting Engineering, Product, or R&D organizations in a high-growth environment.
- Proven Strategy Execution: A track record of executing HR initiatives that directly drive business results in fast-paced, technology-driven companies.
- Analytical Rigor: A highly analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data to influence stakeholder decisions.
- Global Fluency: Experience working with global teams across multiple time zones while maintaining a proactive, problem-solving approach.
Logistics
Location: Bay Area Office.
Hybrid Flexibility: Minimum 3 days in office, with additional in-person presence for critical leadership meetings.
