(Junior) Java Developer (f/m/d)

What You’ll Do

• Build backend services with Java, Quarkus, and Spring Boot to keep our microservices stable and scalable.
• Develop frontend apps using React and Vaadin to deliver simple, responsive user interfaces.
• Collaborate across teams including senior devs, DevOps, product owners, and integration teams to refine requirements and deliver quality software.
• Write automated tests (unit, integration, end‑to‑end) to ensure long term code quality.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues across the stack to improve performance and stability.
• Deploy applications to OpenShift test environments and keep delivery pipelines running smoothly.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines with ArgoCD to support automated, reliable releases.
• Build and maintain microservices used across the company, following clean code and DevOps principles.

What You’ll Bring

• Analytical thinker with a solid technical foundation and a practical approach to solving problems.
• Basic SQL knowledge (PostgreSQL is perfectly fine) and general comfort with relational databases.
• Good English skills to communicate clearly with teammates and stakeholders.
• Some hands on experience with Java, Quarkus, or Spring Boot - enough to understand the basics and build on them.
• Familiarity with React or openness to working on frontend tasks when needed.
• General understanding of microservices, domain driven design, distributed systems, messaging, and cloud native concepts.
• Testing mindset and an appreciation for writing reliable, maintainable code.
