➡️ What you'll do
- Own the portfolio: Build and run a single, prioritized backlog spanning both operational run and transformation. Define a rolling roadmap, arbitrate trade-offs, and actively protect transformation capacity against run pressures.
- Drive AI-enabled transformation: Deconstruct current AML & Fraud Ops processes and rebuild them with AI and bot-enabled flows — maintaining full compliance controls and audit standards while unlocking efficiency at scale.
- Deliver end-to-end projects: Scope, plan, execute and land mid-scale and transformative initiatives across AML & Fraud Ops, with rigorous change management, stakeholder adoption, and predictable delivery.
- Lead and develop your team: Manage and coach ~7 junior Project Managers — set delivery standards, establish PM rituals and tooling, and build a high-performing PM culture inside AML & Fraud Ops.
- Navigate a complex stakeholder environment: Align with Risk & Compliance, AFC, Internal Control and Audit, plus Ops, Tech and Security to ensure safe rollouts, sustainable adoption, and strong operational performance across markets.
➡️ What we're looking for
- Operational project management depth: You've delivered complex, end-to-end operational projects — not just strategy decks. You can run a multi-initiative portfolio with clear prioritisation and a track record to show for it.
- Builder mindset: You've designed operating systems from scratch: rituals, standards, tools, metrics. You don't wait for a playbook to exist — you write it, make it stick, and improve it.
- People leadership: You've managed and developed a team (2–3+ years ideally), and you take coaching seriously — not just task delegation. You raise the bar on execution quality deliberately.
- Stakeholder navigation: You can influence across compliance, operations, and tech/security. You communicate trade-offs clearly and push back constructively when the right call is being missed.
- AI curiosity in a regulated context: You're genuinely excited by AI-enabled process transformation and comfortable working within strict compliance constraints. English fluency required; French fluency strongly preferred.
➡️ What we can offer you
- A portfolio that needs an operating system — yours to build: AML & Fraud Ops at Qonto has the scale and transformation backlog. It doesn't yet have the PM infrastructure to match. You'll design it from the ground up.
- Direct impact in a high-stakes, regulated environment: Your work shapes how AML & Fraud Ops function across all Qonto markets. Efficiency gains here matter for compliance, for the business, and for customers — and they're visible.
- Real AI transformation, not a pilot: You'll work closely with Tech and Security on AI and bot deployments from sprint planning through go-live and sustained performance — not just scoping the opportunity.
- A team to develop: You'll manage ~7 junior PMs, with the scope to set standards and create a PM culture inside AML & Fraud Ops.
- At the heart of the decision-making: You'll sit at the intersection of Risk & Compliance, Ops, and Tech — the teams whose constraints and priorities directly shape what you build.
➡️ Your future manager
Your manager will be Alexis, our Head of AML and Fraud
- Their background? Alexis has built a strong Financial Security track record across BNP Paribas (Inspection Générale Financial Security in Paris, then On-site controls in New York with senior leadership exposure) and previously worked at KPMG on KYC transformation. At BNP Paribas, Alexis also led teams and manage assignments across the globe to strenghten compliance frameworks at country level.
- What do they bring to the team? Expect a manager who values clear, straightforward deliverables, rigorous controls and risk awareness, and pragmatic stakeholder management. Alexis is looking for a hands-on builder who brings structure and raises standards — with space for you to own the PM function end-to-end, and support on senior stakeholder navigation.
At Qonto we understand that true diversity isn't just about ticking boxes on a hiring checklist. Apply regardless of the boxes you tick — you may have the missing piece of the puzzle we've been searching for.
