The Role
We are looking for a Lead Technical Recruiter (Global) to drive hiring across Engineering, Product, Data, AI, Infrastructure, and other technical functions globally.
This role combines hands-on recruitment execution with leadership responsibilities. You will be responsible for attracting top technical talent, partnering with senior stakeholders on hiring strategy, and helping build a high-performing Talent Acquisition function as the company continues to scale globally.
You will play a critical role in shaping BJAK’s technical workforce while mentoring junior recruiters and establishing best-in-class recruiting practices across the organization.
What You’ll Do
Technical Recruitment Leadership
- Own the end-to-end recruitment process for technical positions across Engineering, Product, Data, AI, Machine Learning, Infrastructure, DevOps, Cybersecurity, QA, and related functions.
- Partner with hiring managers and senior leaders to define hiring requirements, interview strategies, talent profiles, and workforce planning priorities.
- Act as a trusted talent advisor by providing market intelligence, talent mapping, compensation insights, and hiring recommendations.
- Drive recruitment outcomes for complex, senior, niche, and business-critical technical positions globally.
- Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to identify and engage top passive talent across competitive international markets.
Talent Pipeline & Market Intelligence
- Build and maintain strong technical talent pipelines to support both immediate and future hiring needs.
- Conduct talent mapping exercises across target companies, industries, and markets.
- Stay current on technical hiring trends, market conditions, compensation benchmarks, and talent availability across key regions.
Team Development & Process Excellence
- Mentor and support junior recruiters, helping improve sourcing capability, candidate assessment quality, and stakeholder management effectiveness.
- Establish and continuously improve recruitment processes, sourcing methodologies, interview calibration standards, and hiring best practices.
- Review recruitment performance, pipeline quality, and hiring outcomes to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Contribute to the growth and development of the global Talent Acquisition team as the organization scales.
Recruitment Operations & Reporting
- Maintain accurate ATS data, candidate records, and recruitment reporting.
- Track key recruitment metrics including pipeline health, time-to-hire, source effectiveness, and hiring quality.
- Ensure a positive, professional, and consistent candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
- Support compliance with local hiring regulations and recruitment best practices across multiple regions.
The Right Fit Has
- 5-8 years of full-cycle recruitment experience, with significant exposure to technical hiring.
- Proven track record recruiting for Software Engineering, Product Management, Data Science, AI/ML, Infrastructure, DevOps, Cybersecurity, or related technical functions.
- Demonstrated success hiring senior and difficult-to-fill technical positions in competitive talent markets.
- Strong sourcing expertise using LinkedIn Recruiter, talent mapping, networking, referrals, and other advanced sourcing techniques.
- Experience managing multiple high-priority requisitions simultaneously while maintaining quality and speed.
- Strong understanding of technical talent markets, technical role requirements, and engineering organizational structures.
- Experience partnering with senior stakeholders and influencing hiring decisions through data, insights, and market expertise.
- Experience mentoring, coaching, or guiding junior recruiters is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with global hiring practices, compensation structures, and recruitment across multiple countries.
- Strong proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment analytics.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills.
- Experience in high-growth technology companies, startups, internet businesses, or fast-scaling organizations is strongly preferred.
