Cortica is looking for a remote, part time Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) to join its growing multi-disciplinary team!
*Please note that a current and unrestricted license to practice in the state of Arizona is required for this position*

This role provides clinicians with the opportunity to work with leaders in the field of child development and to broaden their clinical knowledge across disciplines through collaboration with master practitioners across neurological, sensorimotor, communication, and behavior therapies.
What will you do?
Deliver direct client counseling services to families, couples, and children (patients, their parents, and/or their siblings).
Utilize therapeutic approaches that draw from a variety of disciplines and are tailored to the needs of the client. This may include Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, Solution Focused Collaborative Therapy, and others.
Attend to relational ethics, while collaborating with others in the interdisciplinary team and the families we serve. Actively engage other team members to ensure wrap-around support for the family and sharing of information and ideas.
Participate in family care meetings with other providers.
Comply with clinic policies and all state, federal, and licensing board laws/requirements/regulations by fostering practices that adhere to the standards of care and ethical guidelines, including confidentiality and mandated reporting.
Adhere to – and support other team members’ adherence to – organizational standards and policies.
Maintain documentation and communication in line with legal, ethical, and company standards.
Team members must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to safeguard patient information.
You possess a master’s degree or doctorate in psychology, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field.
You hold a current and unrestricted license and/or certification that is required to practice within your clinical domain and obtain cross-state licensure in new states as indicated by the current business needs.
You are well-grounded in and knowledgeable in a variety of empirically supported psychotherapy treatment approaches including, but not limited to, cognitive and behavioral, postmodern/post-structural, social-constructionism, and narrative therapy.
You have a commitment to providing exceptional client care and using client feedback to improve care.
You are open minded desire to learn from other professional disciplines and knowledge bases as well as local knowledge of colleagues and families we serve.
You have 1 year or more of experience working with children or families with developmental differences.
