Your day-to-day responsibilities
- Manage the end to end flow of materials, components, and finished goods across ICEYE's manufacturing sites, ensuring timely and accurate movement of inventory to support production schedules.
- Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, including freight forwarding, customs clearance, and coordination with carriers and third party logistics providers.
- Work to execute the compliance with international trade regulations, including ITAR, EAR, and dual use export controls
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, carriers, and logistics partners to secure reliable service, and capacity during periods of high demand.
- Monitor and optimise inventory levels across sites to balance availability against cost, reducing excess stock and avoiding shortages that could delay manufacturing.
- Define and track key logistics performance indicators such as on time delivery, lead times, freight cost, and inventory accuracy, and drive continuous improvement against these measures.
- Coordinate with procurement, production planning, and quality teams to align logistics activity with broader supply chain and manufacturing priorities.
- Manage the handling, packaging, and transport of sensitive and high value aerospace components in line with quality standards such as AS9100 and relevant ECSS requirements.
- Lead, develop, and support the logistics team, setting clear objectives and fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence.
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to increase efficiency and scalability as the business grows.
- Manage logistics risk, including contingency planning for supply disruptions, geopolitical factors, and transport delays.
What we’re looking for
Must haves
- Experienced in working in a structured production environment, within Aerospace, Automotive or similar.
- 3-5 years experience of working in a logistics environment
- Experience working with Warehouse Management (WMS) systems and processes
- Experience of working with inbound and outbound shipping flows
- Experience of managing a team, with clear background of developing and scaling
- Experience of working with an ERP system, such as SAP
- Strong experience and competence using Excel and or Google Sheets
