Position Responsibilities
Serve as the engagement lead on specific client accounts.
- Conduct multiple auditing projects and client engagements.
- Take responsibility for pre-engagement planning, execution, and final deliverables
- Develop detailed engagement work plans.
- Illustrate budgets and schedules.
- Actively participate in proposals.
- Manage a team of staff associates, including interns, while providing regular performance coaching and feedback.
- Continuously fostering relationships with coworkers and clients.
- Effectively communicating with partners, staff and clients regarding expectations, status of engagements and other matters.
Qualifications
Developed specialties in Nonprofit, Affordable Housing, and/or Real Estate,
- 4-year bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Licensed CPA.
- 4-7 years of experience working for a public accounting firm.
- Energetically managing, coaching, and developing staff accountants.
- Analytical skills in relation to financial statements and other financial information.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with clients and co-workers.
- Demonstrating initiative and willingness to lead, make decisions, and work independently.
- Knowledge of audit software CaseWare (CaseView) a plus.
