As Manager, Professional Services (Forward Deployed Engineering) at Databricks, you will provide strategic leadership for delivering professional services engagements to high-value Databricks customers. You will help shape the future of the big data and machine learning landscape for leading Fortune 500 organisations.
You will report directly to the Senior Director, Professional Services (Forward Deployed Engineering) in SEMEA.
Part of this role will include people-leadership, with responsibility for core aspects of building and managing the Forward Deployed Engineers team. Through your oversight and mentorship, this team will guide our largest customers, implementing pipelines spanning data engineering through model building and deployment, plus other technical tasks to help customers get value out of their data with Databricks. Beyond people leadership, your responsibilities will include owning the delivery of customer projects in your region, ensuring they are managed and delivered to target and exacting standards. You will be an ambassador for Services and their value in the region, will represent the organisation in steering committees, and will work with cross-functional teams and leaders to ensure Services support the development of the local business.
