About the Role
We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Master Data Analyst to join our growing Data Operations team.
In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of critical business data that supports regulatory compliance, customer operations, and business decision-making. Working closely with stakeholders across the organisation, you'll help ensure high-quality master data, improve governance standards, and support the adoption of modern data and AI-enabled solutions.

What You'll Be Doing
- Maintain and update master data across core business systems, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Perform data quality checks, validations, reconciliations, and cleansing activities.
- Investigate and resolve data issues raised by business users in a timely manner.
- Support regulatory and compliance requirements through well-governed data management practices.
- Collaborate with business and technology teams to understand data requirements and ensure correct data setup.
- Analyse data trends, anomalies, and quality issues to identify root causes and recommend solutions.
- Support data migrations, system enhancements, and testing activities.
- Contribute to the development of data standards, processes, documentation, and governance practices.
- Assist with the adoption of AI-enabled tools and automation solutions to improve operational efficiency.
- Help deliver reliable, high-quality data that supports both internal operations and customer-facing processes.

What We're Looking For
Essential
- 2+ years of experience in a data-related role.
- Experience working with master data, data quality, or data operations processes.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong data analysis capability.
- Working knowledge of MS SQL Server and basic SQL query writing.
- Experience identifying, investigating, and resolving data quality issues.
- Strong understanding of data governance and data quality practices.
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders across business and technology teams.
- Experience using ticketing systems to manage work and data requests.
Desirable
- Familiarity with SSIS and data integration processes.
- Experience working within financial services, fintech, regtech, or technology environments.
- Exposure to Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with AI-enabled tools, automation technologies, or data quality platforms.
- Relevant qualifications in Data Management, Information Technology, Business, or a related discipline.
