Product Manager

The Opportunity

Netwealth is continuing to invest in its investment administration and reporting capabilities and is looking for a Product Manager to lead a key part of the platform.

This role sits at the centre of how we deliver accurate and transparent client outcomes across tax reporting, wrap statements, income processing, and asset administration.

You will own the product direction across this domain, focused on improving reporting workflows, strengthening data integrity, and reducing operational complexity. A key area of focus will be uplifting wrap statements and tax reporting, including contributing to the evolution of our tax registry.

Working in a product led environment, you will partner closely with engineering and stakeholders to identify the most important problems to solve, test ideas, and deliver meaningful improvements through small, frequent releases.

Key Responsibilities

• Build deep domain expertise across investment administration, tax reporting, wrap statements, and asset administration
• Define and evolve the product strategy, focusing on the most impactful problems that improve reporting accuracy, transparency, and scalability
• Lead discovery by working closely with stakeholders to understand pain points, map workflows, and uncover opportunities to improve client and operational outcomes
• Drive the uplift of wrap statements and tax reporting, including contributing to the evolution of the tax registry
• Support the development and ongoing management of new and existing asset types
• Simplify complex, process heavy workflows into scalable solutions that reduce manual handling and risk
• Partner with engineering and stakeholders to deliver iterative improvements, using data and insights to measure impact and guide decisions

About You

You’re a Product Manager who enjoys working in complex, data rich environments where the problems are not always obvious and the value comes from getting the fundamentals right.

You’re comfortable being given problems to solve rather than a list of features to deliver, and you work closely with your team to find the best path forward. You care about outcomes, use data to guide your thinking, and take a pragmatic approach to delivery.

Your experience includes

• Proven product management experience within investment platforms, financial services, or similarly complex environments
• Strong exposure to investment administration, tax reporting, client reporting, or asset management processes
• Experience working with data heavy systems and understanding how financial data flows through platforms
• Ability to simplify complex processes and communicate clearly with both technical and non technical stakeholders
• Experience working in cross functional teams with engineering and business partners
• A structured, outcome focused approach to problem solving, with the ability to balance short term needs with longer term improvements
• Comfort working in a product led environment where teams are empowered to explore solutions and continuously improve
• A product-led mindset, with the ability to balance day-to-day operational needs with longer-term architectural improvement
