•
Serves as the Production Systems Engineer for the program accountable for technical integrity and safety
•
Provide leadership to drive design integration, resolve technical issues, resolve supplier technical issues, and resolve requirements issues
•
Ensures technical baseline control and supports supplier technical oversight and direction
•
Identifies technical risks and ensures technical risks and issues are driven to resolution
•
Provide high impact, creative solutions to complex technical problems
•
Work both independently and as part of a team environment
•
Provide critical support and independent review of the work of teammates
•
Lead technical integration across a wide range of disciplines including systems engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, etc.
•
Leads Root Cause/Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations and resolution definition
•
Strong technical relationship with customers, businesses and the other functions
•
Lead engineering aspects of proposal preparation
This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
•
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
•
5 or more years of experience in production or manufacturing environment
•
12 or more years of higher education and/or related work experience (Higher education includes college, university, technical school, licensing/certification programs, etc.)
•
Masters or Doctorate of Science degree in Engineering or related science or technology field degree
•
Experience using technical and program management techniques to manage large-scale technical production efforts
•
Experience with engineering processes and tools in a high rate production environment
•
Experience with Radar systems
•
Experience with Circuit Card Assembly and Production Processes
•
Experience with modernization of product and test equipment (DFM, DFT, DFA)
•
Extensive experience managing/leading large engineering projects
•
Proven experience effectively communicating and collaborating on multi-discipline teams
Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
