Your day-to-day responsibilities
- Execute the build and integration of engineering model satellites, including mechanical and electrical assembly
- Perform incoming inspection and verification of components prior to integration
- Support and execute functional, environmental, and system-level testing activities
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve integration issues, escalating where needed
- Document build, integration, and test results with full traceability
- Collaborate with design, test, and manufacturing teams to implement new configurations and design updates
- Support rapid iteration of prototype builds and improve build processes and tooling
- Translate evolving R&D requirements into structured and executable build activities
What we’re looking forMust haves
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in satellite, aerospace, or complex hardware system assembly, integration, or testing
- Strong understanding of mechanical and or electrical integration processes
- Experience following technical procedures with high quality and precision
- Familiarity with inspection, verification, and testing methodologies
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot integration challenges
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments with evolving requirements
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across engineering teams
- Ownership mindset with focus on quality and timely delivery
Nice to haves
- Experience with satellite or aerospace hardware systems
- Familiarity with cleanroom environments and ESD-safe practices
- Experience with environmental testing such as vibration or thermal vacuum
- Experience with configuration control and change management processes
