What You Will Do
- Support the Residence Manager in overseeing daily residence operations.
- Supervise front‑line staff and ensure excellent service delivery.
- Handle resident inquiries, concerns, and incident reports professionally.
- Assist in maintaining safety, cleanliness, and compliance with organisational standards.
- Monitor occupancy levels and assist with reporting and documentation.
- Help plan and deliver community‑building activities and programs.
- Conduct regular inspections of residence facilities and escalate issues when needed.
- Participate in staff, training, and performance support.
- Act as the point of contact during the Director of Residences Residence Manager’s absence.
What You Bring
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships.
- Experience in hospitality, property management, student housing, or customer service (preferred).
- Excellent problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution abilities.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Fluent in English, with French language proficiency a plus.
- Professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe, respectful, and inclusive community environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and on‑call shifts as needed.
