Requirements
- Master's degree in Law or equivalent legal qualification.
- At least 5 years of directly relevant experience supporting and negotiating commercial transactions involving the sale of hardware, software, and associated services. General legal experience not related to commercial technology transactions will not be considered sufficient.
- Demonstrated experience negotiating and structuring complex commercial transactions involving hardware, software, and associated services.
- Experience supporting commercial activities within technology, industrial, deeptech, engineering, or R&D-intensive environments.
- Strong knowledge of commercial contracting, technology agreements, and intellectual property-related issues.
- Ability to identify legal risks, propose practical solutions, and support business decision-making in fast-paced environments.
- Professional fluency in English and professional working proficiency in French, both written and spoken.
Nice to have
- Experience taking end-to-end ownership of complex commercial transactions.
- Familiarity with technology-related disputes and contentious matters.
- Knowledge of French, European, or U.S. public procurement frameworks.
- Exposure to export control regulations and international trade compliance matters.
- Experience implementing or working with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) solutions.
- Interest in leveraging legal AI tools and technology to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to explain complex legal concepts in a clear, practical, and business-oriented manner.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-growing, highly collaborative, and evolving environment.
