Your day-to-day responsibilities
- Design, operate, and evolve core platform components including Kubernetes, ingress, service mesh, and secrets management
- Build and maintain reusable infrastructure modules using Terraform across AWS and on-prem environments
- Define and implement observability standards, including metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, and alerting
- Partner with product teams to guide platform adoption and enable scalable, platform-aligned architectures
- Automate platform lifecycle processes including provisioning, upgrades, and scaling
- Improve platform reliability, performance, and security through continuous iteration
- Support and mentor engineers on best practices in Kubernetes, networking, identity, and observability
- Reduce operational overhead through tooling, automation, and improved platform abstractions
What we’re looking forMust haves
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering roles operating production systems
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including cluster operations, networking, and lifecycle management
- Solid understanding of AWS fundamentals including networking, IAM, compute, and storage
- Experience with infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform
- Practical experience with observability, including SLOs, metrics, logs, traces, and alerting
- Proficiency in at least one backend language such as Python or Go
- Strong Linux systems knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate effectively in English
Nice to haves
- Experience with Rancher, Istio, External Secrets, or Vault
- Experience operating in restricted or air-gapped environments
- Experience with identity systems such as FusionAuth or SSO integrations
- Experience in regulated or mission-critical environments
- Experience with hybrid infrastructure across AWS and on-prem platforms
