About the Role
Perk is a fast-scaling B2B travel booking and expense management platform operating across multiple geographies. Our Finance team runs on a growing stack of interconnected systems, and we need a hands-on, strategically-minded operator to own it.
As Senior Manager, Finance Systems, you will be the internal expert and accountable owner of our entire finance technology ecosystem — with NetSuite at its core. You will partner closely with Accounting, Strategic Finance, and Engineering to optimise how our systems operate, integrate, and scale. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role for someone who wants to be the person who makes finance run better.
What You’ll Do
NetSuite — Core Ownership
- Serve as the primary system administrator and functional lead for NetSuite ERP
- Manage configuration, customisation (SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SavedSearches), and release management
- Own the NetSuite integration landscape, including connections to upstream and downstream systems
- Drive the AR/AP, GL, and close-process optimisation agenda within NetSuite
- Lead system remediation initiatives (e.g. unapplied cash cleanup, open document resolution)
Finance Systems Ecosystem
- Manage and optimise the broader finance tech stack including evaluating new AI tools
- Own the systems roadmap — evaluate new tooling, lead vendor negotiations, and retire legacy processes
- Drive system integration projects end-to-end, partnering with Engineering where required
Controls, Compliance & Audit
- Own IT general controls across finance systems as part of the SOX programme
- Manage user access reviews, segregation of duties, and provisioning/deprovisioning workflows
- Act as the primary liaison for auditor (Deloitte) and advisory (PwC) queries on systems and data
- Maintain SOC report inventory and annual review process for all finance system vendors
Projects & Continuous Improvement
- Lead systems implementation and upgrade projects from scoping through go-live
- Identify and execute automation opportunities that reduce manual effort in the close cycle
- Build and maintain systems documentation, including data dictionaries, process flows, and runbooks
- Partner with Accounting and FP&A to translate business requirements into scalable system solutions
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- 7+ years of finance systems experience, with at least 4 years as a NetSuite administrator or functional lead
- Demonstrable hands-on NetSuite configuration experience: workflows, custom records, SuiteScript, saved searches, and reporting
- Track record of owning cross-system integration projects from requirements through delivery
- Solid understanding of core accounting processes (close cycle, AR/AP, consolidation) — enough to speak credibly with controllers and auditors
- Experience supporting SOX IT general controls or equivalent audit-facing compliance work
- Strong project management instincts: able to run multiple workstreams, communicate status clearly, and flag blockers early
- Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with limited hand-holding
Highly Valued
- NetSuite certification (Administrator, ERP Consultant, or equivalent)
- Experience with HiBob, Okta, LeaseQuery, or Carta in a finance context
- Exposure to multi-entity, multi-currency environments
- Familiarity with SaaS or B2B travel/expense tech — you’ll understand the business you’re supporting
- Experience working alongside Big 4 auditors on systems and data queries
Who Will Thrive Here
This role is not a ticket-taker. You will be expected to bring a point of view, push back when requirements are incomplete, and proactively surface problems before they become audit findings. The right person is equally comfortable in a configuration screen and a CFO meeting — and sees the connection between the two.
You are probably a good fit if
- You are genuinely energised by fixing broken processes, not just maintaining working ones
- You communicate technical issues in plain language without being asked to
- You have strong ownership instincts — if something is wrong in your systems, you find out before the auditors do
- You are comfortable with ambiguity and can set your own priorities when direction is incomplete
- You thrive in scale-up environments where the roadmap is built as you go
