What you’ll be doing
- Developing a deep understanding of Marshmallow’s quote, policy and claims data and use this to derive insights that can be used to enhance our pricing.
- Own one of the strategic initiatives of the pricing team, such as supporting our expansion plans or protecting our renewing customers.
- Conducting claims analysis and claims modelling using SQL and Python.
- Conducting price optimisation analysis/modelling using Python.
- Building and deploying models in APIs for use in real time pricing.
- Identify new sources of external data that enable us to refine our view of claims risk, and conduct analysis to quantify their value.
- Working directly with our Engineering & MLENG functions to implement pricing proposals.
- Providing pricing support for the launch of multiple new products.

What skills are we looking for from you?
- Ability to interrogate data and conduct pricing analysis within SQL & Python/R
- Ability to build GLMs, GBMs and other claims models within Python/R
- At least 3 years of experience working in a data driven (ideally commercial) role
