Key Responsibilities
- Lead complex hospital construction, medical office buildings, ambulatory care centers, clinical renovations, and healthcare campus expansions from planning through closeout.
- Cultivate client relationships and develop new business opportunities.
- Serve as the owner's trusted advisor on budget, schedule, quality, and risk management.
- Navigate state healthcare facility licensing requirements, CMS Conditions of Participation, Joint Commission standards, and local AHJ compliance.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to firm-wide knowledge and best practices.
- Contribute to proposals and business development pursuits.
- Travel to project sites as needed to provide hands-on owner's representation.
Requirements
- 15+ years in construction project management, program management, or owner's representation.
- Demonstrated track record managing $25M+ healthcare construction projects.
- Strong working relationships with health system executives, hospital administrators, and healthcare facility directors.
- Excellent communication skills and executive presence.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience navigating state healthcare facility licensing requirements, CMS Conditions of Participation, Joint Commission standards, and local AHJ compliance and project closeout requirements.
- CCM, PMP, PE, RA, or LEED AP certification.
- Experience with infection control risk assessments (ICRA), interim life safety measures (ILSM), and healthcare-specific commissioning requirements
