Responsibilities
Typical Responsibilities/Tasks
- Develop and manage comprehensive test plans, test cases, and evaluation strategies for software systems.• Define testing objectives, success criteria, and evaluation methodologies.• Ensure alignment of testing activities with program requirements and industry standards.• Lead the execution of functional, performance, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.• Perform automated and manual testing as appropriate.• Document, analyze, and report test results, identifying defects, risks, and areas for improvement.• Ensure adherence to software quality assurance standards, best practices, and compliance frameworks.• Validate that security, interoperability, and performance requirements are met.• Support continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines by embedding automated testing.• Expertise with testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber, Postman).• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing integration.• Familiarity with defect tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps, Bugzilla).• Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).• Knowledge of cybersecurity testing, secure coding standards, and vulnerability assessment.• Understanding of system integration testing, interoperability, and requirements validation.
