Your day-to-day responsibilities
- Own the full pipeline for all commercial opportunities below €100K — from intake and qualification through to close.
- Consolidate and track all incoming leads across sources in a single, structured CRM framework with high data quality.
- Qualify opportunities based on commercial potential, strategic fit, and customer needs; drive timely, professional follow-up.
- Design and continuously improve scalable workflows for high-volume opportunity handling, including automation where applicable.
- Prepare customer-facing communications, commercial responses, and supporting materials.
- Collaborate with marketing, partnerships, sales, operations, and regional teams to align on opportunity handling and pipeline visibility.
- Provide regular reporting on pipeline status, conversion metrics, and operational bottlenecks to internal stakeholders.
- Engage customers professionally across all interactions, developing a solid understanding of their requirements and relevant ICEYE capabilities.
- Ensure disqualified opportunities are properly documented and communicated to relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate with channel partners, e.g., resellers and agents, to drive intake of transactional opportunities.
- Serve as credible face of ICEYE to channel partners: educate channel partners on ICEYE capabilities; promote ICEYE capabilities to channel partners, and support partners’ queries to ICEYE.
What we’re looking for
Must haves
- 2–5 years of experience in business development, sales operations, commercial coordination, or consulting.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple opportunities and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Experience with CRM systems and sales tracking tools, with strong attention to data quality.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Experience presenting effectively and persuasively to customers and stakeholders in English.
- Working experience with office tools (Microsoft Office, Google Office).
- Structured, organized, and able to work independently while collaborating across teams.
- Due to the nature of this role, applicants must hold nationality of a NATO Member State in order to meet applicable security screening requirements.
Nice to haves
- Experience in geospatial, Earth observation, defence, aerospace, SaaS, or consulting environments.
- Familiarity with workflow automation tools and process optimization methodologies.
- Interest in or exposure to AI applications within sales, operations, or business processes.
- Experience with pipeline analytics, KPI tracking, and reporting.
- Experience with channel management.
- History of revenue attainment and growth in an inside sales role.
