We're hiring a GTM Talent Acquisition Partner to own end-to-end hiring across our go-to-market functions in New York. You'll work directly with the CRO and wider GTM leadership to bring in the account executives, sales managers and business development talent that will drive Orbital's US growth.
This is a high-bar role. Our standard for GTM talent is exceptionally high, and you'll need to be exceptional at finding people who aren't looking, not just managing the inbound. If headhunting is something you do when the pipeline dries up, this isn't the role for you. If it's your default mode, read on.
You'll be based in our New York office two days a week and embedded as a true partner to the business, not a process admin.
You will be expected to complete 3 high quality hires a month to help us to double our headcount this year from 120-250.
What You'll Do🎯 Own full-cycle GTM recruiting — from kick-off through offer — across sales, business development, marketing, and customer success
🔍 Lead proactive headhunting campaigns using AI tools, company mapping, and sourcing platforms to identify and engage the best passive talent in the market. We know the best talent may not be looking and it’s your job to entice them to.
🤝 Partner closely with the CRO and GTM hiring managers to deeply understand the business, calibrate on talent bar, and move at pace
📊 Build and maintain structured hiring processes in Ashby, pipelines, scorecards, reporting keeping everything clean, consistent, and visible
🧠 Use data and market intelligence to advise on role positioning, compensation benchmarking, and talent availability
📋 Manage and optimise candidate experience end-to-end, ensuring every touchpoint reflects Orbital's brand and standards
What We're Looking For🏢 Proven in-house recruiting experience at a high-growth tech scale-up, this is non-negotiable. Agency-only backgrounds won't be considered
🎯 Demonstrable track record hiring GTM roles: AEs, Sales Managers, BDRs, Marketing, and Customer Success.
🔎 Elite headhunting ability — you know how to map a market, build a target list, craft a compelling approach, and convert passive candidates who weren't planning to move
🤖 Fluent in using AI tools, LinkedIn Recruiter, JuiceBox, WTTJ to identify and engage top talent — not just post-and-pray
📐 Process-oriented with strong attention to detail — you set up structure, maintain data integrity, and hold the hiring process together under pressure.
⚡ Ability to work at genuine pace without compromising on quality — Orbital moves fast, and so will you
🌟 Agency experience is a plus, but must be complemented by substantial in-house scale-up experience
Benefits 🌟Compensation: We offer a competitive starting salary in the range of $150,000 -$185,000, depending on experience. We share salary ranges upfront to build trust, reduce bias, and support an inclusive process, even as we continue developing our internal pay structures.
We believe in flexibility, but we're also big on in-person collaboration. This role is based in our New York office with minimum two days a week, with additional time in as needed for things like all-hands, interviews, or team sessions. It's about being present when it matters, and balancing autonomy with impact.
