THE OPPORTUNITY
We are hiring a Software Engineering Manager to our Partners Acquisition team in Brazil!
The Partners Area is accountable for the supplier side of our marketplace, ensuring gym and wellness partners can seamlessly onboard and thrive. The Partners Acquisition team specifically owns the critical entry point of this ecosystem: the entire acquisition journey (self-sign-up funnels, referral systems, automated content setup, and system activation). Our ultimate goal is to drastically reduce time-to-market for new partners globally. To achieve this, we are a heavily data-informed squad that runs multiple parallel A/B tests to optimize every step of our conversion funnel.
YOUR IMPACT
- Accelerate Global Onboarding: Lead the delivery of a highly optimized, high-conversion self-service product that eliminates onboarding friction for new B2B partners.
- Scale our Experimentation Engine: Architect and oversee a robust experimentation setup using Growthbook, enabling the team to safely run complex, parallel A/B tests across our frontend and backend ecosystems without compromising system performance or code quality.
- Lead a Blended Architecture: Successfully manage and architect a diverse ecosystem that seamlessly connects high-traffic frontend apps (Tanstack/React/TS) and backend services (Kotlin/AWS) with our core CRM/ERP data workflows (Salesforce).
- Champion Engineering Excellence & AI: Establish modern SDLC standards, mandating and driving the adoption of AI-assisted development tools for faster coding, automated reviews, and testing.
- Empower a Cross-Functional Team: Foster a high-performance culture across a hybrid squad of 6 engineers (4 Frontend, 2 Backend).
WHO YOU ARE
- Proven Technical Leadership: Experience managing or leading cross-functional engineering teams in high-growth environments.
- Experimentation & Growth Mindset: Deep practical experience with A/B testing methodologies and experimentation feature-flagging tools (ideally Growthbook, LaunchDarkly, Optimizely, or similar). You understand how to build systems for rapid telemetry and tracking.
- Hands-on & Architecturally Sound: You still love to code, review pull requests, and can confidently architect scalable systems. Proficient in Kotlin (or Java), AWS, React, and TypeScript.
- Distributed Systems Expert: You have extensive experience navigating Microservices and Micro-frontend architectures at scale.
- AI-First Mindset: Actively uses and promotes AI best practices (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT) to boost team velocity.
- Strategic Communicator: You are proficient in English and excel at asynchronous communication, capable of articulating complex technical trade-offs to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
Mandatory Requirements
- English Proficiency: Professional working proficiency in English, as you will collaborate with distributed global teams.
- Proven Engineering Leadership: Demonstrable experience directly managing and leading cross-functional software engineering teams in high-growth, product-driven environments.
- Full-Stack Technical Depth: Extensive hands-on experience and deep architectural understanding of modern full-stack ecosystems—specifically Kotlin (or Java), AWS, React, and TypeScript—with the ability to code, review PRs, and guide system design.
- AI-First Engineering Mindset: Active and mandatory integration of AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) into your personal coding, review, and documentation workflows, with the ability to champion these practices across the team.
