What You'll Do
- Partner with law firm clients to diagnose their current state, identify AI adoption opportunities, and build structured roadmaps for transformation across practice groups and business functions.
- Support the design and delivery of end-to-end transformation programs — spanning use case prioritization, change management planning, stakeholder alignment, rollout sequencing, and success measurement.
- Facilitate executive workshops, working sessions, and steering committee meetings, translating complex AI capabilities into clear strategic choices for firm leadership.
- Build and maintain client-facing deliverables including current-state assessments, transformation roadmaps, adoption playbooks, ROI models, and executive presentations.
- Track and analyze adoption metrics, utilization data, and business outcomes to diagnose progress, flag risks, and inform strategy adjustments in real time.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure clients receive coordinated, high-quality support.
- Contribute to the development of repeatable practice infrastructure — frameworks, templates, benchmarks, and toolkits — that allow Harvey's Transformation Office to scale.
- Represent Harvey in client conversations and external forums with credibility and a clear point of view on where AI is taking the legal industry.
What You Have
- 3–7 years of experience at a top-tier management consulting firm (e.g., McKinsey, BCG, Bain, or equivalent), with a track record of leading complex client engagements and delivering measurable outcomes.
- Strong foundation in organizational change, strategy, or enterprise transformation — ideally with exposure to professional services, legal, or regulated industries.
- Exceptional structured problem-solving and analytical skills: comfortable moving from ambiguous problem to clear hypothesis to rigorous analysis to executive-ready recommendation.
- Excellent communication and client presence: able to build trust quickly, facilitate senior stakeholder conversations, and adapt your style across different audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to build and own complex deliverables — frameworks, roadmaps, financial models, board-level presentations — with minimal oversight.
- High agency and a bias toward action: comfortable operating in fast-moving, early-stage environments where the playbook is still being written.
- Genuine curiosity about AI and its implications for how professional services firms operate, compete, and serve clients.
- JD or legal industry experience is a plus, but not required — deep interest in the legal sector and comfort learning quickly is what matters.
