Key Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate financial applications and supporting documentation
- Input and maintain accurate data across underwriting systems and platforms
- Verify the completeness and accuracy of submitted information
- Assess risk and ensure decisions align with established underwriting guidelines
- Flag discrepancies, inconsistencies, or missing information for resolution
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth processing and timely turnaround
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records for all cases
- Adhere to compliance standards and internal policies at all times
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in financial underwriting or a related data-intensive financial role
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage a consistent workload
- Excellent written and spoken English for US client-facing communication
- Comfortable working US Eastern hours on a full-time basis
- Prior remote work experience; candidates without demonstrated remote work experience will not be considered
- Experience working with US-based clients
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in financial services, lending, insurance, or credit
- Familiarity with underwriting software and financial data platforms
- Experience working in a high-volume, process-driven environment
