Some ordinary text PDFs were being rejected with a message saying the file looked scanned or image-only. Your CV is now read by a second reader whenever the first one struggles, so those files go through.
Tapping Add my CV used to open another window first, which could sit half hidden behind the panel you were already in. It now opens your device file picker right away, and the reading progress shows on the button itself.
Without a CV on file the Answer Pack used to hand back a pack with the tailored parts left blank and no reason given. It now tells you a CV is needed before you start, with an upload button right there, and applying directly still works without one.
If your profile has a phone number, you can now get a short daily WhatsApp message with the newest jobs matched to you, so you do not have to keep checking the board. You can turn it off any time in Settings under Notifications.
Every job card now has a one tap button to send a role straight to WhatsApp, with the title and a clean link ready to go. Handy for passing a job to a friend or a group chat.
You may now spot a few clearly labelled Sponsored roles mixed into the job lists. These are paid high-end remote openings from a partner, marked with a Sponsored tag so you always know which is which.
You can now email a job listing or a blog post straight from the Share button, with a clean branded message. Handy for sending a role to a friend or keeping it in your own inbox.
The Custom CV and Cover Letter tools now work for any job, not just the ones listed on Sydicom. Paste a link to a role you found anywhere and we will tailor your CV or cover letter to it.
On every job page, the Custom CV, cover letter and resume tools now appear within the job description itself, so they are easy to reach on your phone instead of being tucked away in a side panel.
Setting up your account is now a single page instead of two steps, with a log out button if you want to finish later. You can still fine-tune your job preferences any time in Settings.
The homepage now explains how Sydicom works in a few simple steps and what makes it different from a regular job board, so you know what to expect before you start browsing.
New pages let you explore openings grouped by company, by country (including fully remote, worldwide roles), and by job role, each showing how many positions are live right now. Hub pages help you jump straight to the company, country, or role you care about.
Articles now open with a topical cover image and show inline images and screenshots more cleanly, so guides and tutorials are easier to follow.
Jobs that do not publish pay now show an estimated salary range, clearly marked "Est." and based on public US labor data adjusted for the role, seniority and location. When an employer does list real pay, you still see their exact figure with no estimate label.
The homepage now works more smoothly with screen readers and the skip-to-content shortcut, so anyone browsing with assistive tech or a keyboard can jump straight to the job list.
Sydicom is now a remote and hybrid job platform, with the emphasis on fully remote work. Every job you browse, search, or get matched to is remote or hybrid, so you spend less time scrolling past roles that would tie you to an office.

Fixed a rare glitch that could interrupt signing in when you had Sydicom open in multiple browser tabs at once.
Every tailored CV and cover letter can now download as a Word (.docx) file, not just PDF, so you can make a quick edit before you send it.
Generated CVs and cover letters now follow applicant-tracking-system best practices, including clean single-column formatting and the right keywords pulled from the job, so they read well to both software and a human.
Your Answer Pack now saves as it is generated. Refreshing the page no longer re-runs or re-charges anything, and if one section has a hiccup you can retry just that section.
We now detect your country and show pricing in the right currency automatically, with the option to switch it yourself if we get it wrong.
