What you will do
- Manage all aspects of sales positioning and execution for all affiliated investment strategies and managed accounts.
- Provide competitive feedback from marketplace and influence further product development and management for investment strategies and managed account programs.
- Act as the investment sales resource and SME to the specific assigned region within the segment with a primary focus on collaborating and partnering with the Empower Regional Sales Directors and Relationship Managers to become the investment and managed account extension for the team in the region Independent of the Empower Regional Sales Directors, develop and nurture 3rd party advisor relationships in the specific assigned region by developing and executing a targeted calling and coverage effort to enhance Empower’s investment strategy utilization.
- Become the expert on the Managed Accounts experience and serve as the primary conduit for this solution for the specific assigned region.
- Maintain current, accurate, and qualified pipeline report for all prospects and sales activity.
- Partner with internal sales to identify, prioritize and maintain opportunities at all stages of pipeline.
What you will bring
- Bachelor’s degree in a Business-related field or equivalent experience.
- 10-15 successful years in a related field sales/financial services Distribution organization experience
- Ability to travel 65-75% of time or more based on business needs Comprehensive industry/retirement plan knowledge.
- Demonstrated relationship management, project management, and effective communication and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with Chat GPT in the workplace
- FINRA Series 6, 63 and SEC S65 registrations and state insurance licenses required within established timelines.
- FINRA fingerprinting required.
- Strong partnering/collaboration skills enabling her/him to drive collective success in a multi-channel enterprise.
- Demonstrated and proven advisor relationships within assigned regions
- Familiarity with retirement plan-based and retail managed accounts solutions.
- CFA, CIMA or comparable designation a plus
- Knowledge of alternative investments a plus
