Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop a team of BI engineers, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring professional growth and skill development.
- BI Strategy: Develop and implement the BI strategy, aligning with the organization’s business objectives and driving improvements in data analysis and reporting capabilities.
- Project Management: Oversee the delivery of BI projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
- Technical Oversight: Lead the design, development, and maintenance of BI solutions, including data warehouses, data models, and ETL tools.
- Collaboration: Work closely with data engineering, data product managers, and other stakeholders across departments to understand their data needs and translate them into actionable BI solutions.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of data within BI systems, implementing best practices and industry standards.
- Innovation: Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance BI capabilities.
Skills and Experience Required
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: 6+ years of experience in BI engineering or related roles, with 2+ years in a managerial or team lead position.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL, data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modeling; preferred to have familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Leadership: Proven track record in managing and mentoring a team, with strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical Abilities: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Project Management: Experience in managing projects using methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

- Project Delivery: Timeliness and quality of BI projects delivered, including adherence to deadlines and budget constraints.

Where
This is a fully remote, US based position with minimal to no travel required. You may be asked to travel up to 4 times per year for quarterly planning. The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada – if you’re close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotely. Please note that you must be eligible to work without sponsorship to qualify for this position, and this role may require travel to our Corporate Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, or to other office locations around North America.
