Key Responsibilities
1. Revenue Operations & Advanced Invoicing
- Oversee the end-to-end invoicing lifecycle, ensuring 100% accuracy in complex billing cycles and compliance with bespoke customer agreements.
- Identify bottlenecks in the billing workflow and partner with the Finance Lead to design and implement automated solutions within NetSuite/QuickBooks.
- Perform root-cause analysis on recurring billing discrepancies and implement permanent process fixes while communicating with leadership on the context of the issues.
2. Scalable Customer Onboarding
- Audit and validate customer agreements to ensure financial data integrity before account creation.
- Create customer accounts and process sensitive financial data accurately.
- Identify bottlenecks in the customer creation workflow and partner with the Finance Lead to design and implement automated solutions within NetSuite/QuickBooks and other softwares such as HubSpot, SpotDraft, etc.
3. Strategic Customer Support & Problem Solving
- Manage high-priority or complex customer financial inquiries, translating technical issues into clear, professional communication.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with multiple departments to resolve structural billing hurdles for clients.
4. Systems & Data Management
- Maintain the integrity of the customer master data, ensuring clean reporting for Senior Management.
- Support the Customer Finance Lead in ad-hoc projects, including ERP migrations, system integrations (AP/AR tools), and the creation of standardized training documentation for future team growth.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Billing, or Revenue Operations (senior-level ownership expected).
- Technical Mastery: At least 4+ in NetSuite & Expert Excel/Google Sheets skills- must be comfortable with complex formulas, pivot tables, and data modeling to identify trends or errors.
- Problem-Solving: A proven track record of taking a manual process and developing as well as executing a better process through automation or workflow redesign.
- Meticulous Attention to Detail: An obsession with accuracy; you are the person who catches the $0.01 discrepancy before it becomes a client issue.
- Communication: Ability to distill complex financial data into actionable insights for stakeholders and senior leadership.
