In this role, you’ll
- Be a part of a team which maintains hundreds of servers around the globe.
- Maintain multiple Kubernetes clusters and ensure availability.
- Work on infrastructure architecture, capacity planning, and performance optimization.
- Be responsible for managing various databases - SQL, NoSQL, etc.
- Upgrade systems with new releases and updates.
- Automate everything or as many things as possible.
- Work together with PMs and the development team to find the best technological solutions.
- New ideas & projects are always welcome!
Your skills & experiences
- Strong Linux skills, including troubleshooting and programming.
- That you are familiar with some of these technologies: Microservices, Kafka, Nginx, MySQL, Valkey, HAProxy, Prometheus.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes/Helm/ArgoCD.
- Hands-on experience with automation and servers provisioning tools (preferably Ansible and OpenTofu).
- Excellent proactive, responsibility and ownership skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with big databases (SQL and NoSQL).
- Experience with critical web systems (you know what HA actually means).
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery/continuous deployment (Gitlab CI/CD).
- Experience with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, etc.).
- That you have a clue or two about how network technologies work (DNS, IPv4, IPv6, BGP, routing, bridging, etc.).
