We are looking for a seasoned Senior QA Engineer with deep expertise in networking protocols and a passion for quality engineering. In this role, you will lead the validation of cutting-edge router and networking products, driving protocol compliance, interoperability testing, and test automation across L2/L3 feature sets.
You will collaborate closely with firmware, software, and hardware engineering teams to define test strategies, mentor junior engineers, and ensure that our products meet the highest standards of reliability and standards compliance before reaching customers.
Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans for L3 routing protocols including OSPF, BGP, RIPv2, and Static Routing on enterprise and consumer routers
Lead validation of WAN technologies including PPPoE, DHCP WAN, Static IP, and multi-WAN failover scenarios
Perform end-to-end testing of Firewall, NAT/PAT, DHCP, and DNS features across both IPv4 and IPv6 environments
Drive test automation initiatives using Python, Robot Framework, or equivalent frameworks
Conduct packet-level analysis using Wireshark and tcpdump to validate protocol behavior
Perform interoperability testing across multi-vendor environments
Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to team capability building
Collaborate with cross-functional teams during design reviews and early-stage feature validation
6+ years of relevant work experience
Hands-on experience with IPv6 (addressing, DHCPv6, SLAAC, dual-stack environments) — strong added advantage
Familiarity with VPN technologies (IPSec, OpenVPN, WireGuard)
Experience with VLAN other L2 protocols
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated regression frameworks
Experience with embedded Linux or firmware-level debugging
Networking certifications (CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent) are a plus
