Key Responsibilities
- Own product strategy, roadmap, and execution for your portion of the Senior Living products.
- Become the product expert for your areas of responsibility, including product functionality and how the product creates value for the customer and user.
- Serve as the voice of the customer to a scrum team inclusive of engineering and UX, partnering with engineering leads to manage ceremonies associated with product delivery.
- Maintain a prioritized backlog and write user stories, acceptance criteria, and other artifacts to support engineering teams in delivering on product priorities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with design, engineering, customer success, and clinical stakeholders on how to improve.
- Identify, communicate, and bring the right people together to manage risks timely and effectively.
Manage products through the full development lifecycle, from discovery and strategy through delivery and iteration.
- Use qualitative and quantitative techniques to understand current and future customer and user needs and pain points.
- Prioritize product investments and trade-offs using data-driven analysis and good judgement to create a compelling business case and quantify return on investment.
- Engage with User Experience, Engineering, Technical Writers, and other product managers leveraging modern agile processes and Design Thinking and ensure concepts are valuable and feasible.
- Liaise with Software Commercialization, Sales, Marketing, Professional Services, Customer Success, and other functions to ensure successful product launches and releases.
- Understand the broader product portfolio and how solutions work together to create value for customers.
- Participate in industry events, and lead customer and partner facing engagements as a product expert.
- Understand competitive landscape.
- Inspire, energize, and motivate cross-functional teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, computer science, or computer engineering.
- 5+ years of Software Product Management experience.
- Experience working in healthcare technology is a plus.
- Experience working with Cloud - Azure hosted environments.
- Proven track record of managing products, innovation, and a general curiosity and drive for building great products.
- Strong written and oral communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of Agile practices.
- Experience managing SaaS products.
At PointClickCare, base salary is one of the many components that make up our total rewards package. The Canada base salary range for this position is $133,200 - $148,000 + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by job and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hire salaries for the position across all Canada locations. Within the range, individual compensation is determined by job-related skills and knowledge, relevant experience including professional and lived experience, and/or work location.
