Responsibilities
Strategic Project Management & Execution
- Support High-Priority Strategic Initiatives: Partner closely with the Vice President of Operations to scope, coordinate, and execute strategic projects across the business. Help ensure priorities are well-defined, workstreams stay on track, and stakeholders remain aligned.
- Cross-Functional Project Management: Support the VP of Operations in managing cross-functional initiatives involving teams such as Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, Finance, and Operations. Facilitate communication, track progress, identify blockers, and drive follow-through.
- Ad Hoc Strategic Projects: Jump into ambiguous or time-sensitive projects as needed, quickly developing context, organizing workstreams, and helping move initiatives from idea to execution.
Go-to-Market Strategy & Business Analysis
- Pricing & Packaging Support: Assist with strategic work related to Prompt’s go-to-market motion, including pricing, packaging, segmentation, competitive positioning, and related business analysis.
- Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, customer segments, competitors, market dynamics, and new opportunities. Translate findings into clear, actionable summaries for leadership.
- TAM & Market Opportunity Analysis: Support total addressable market analysis and related strategic assessments to help evaluate growth opportunities, new market verticals, and potential expansion areas.
- New Market Vertical Exploration: Help assess potential new markets or customer segments by researching market size, customer needs, competitive landscape, operational complexity, and strategic fit.
Data Analysis & Strategic Insight
- Data-Driven Decision Support: Use data to support strategic recommendations, business cases, and operational decisions. Build analyses that help leadership evaluate opportunities, tradeoffs, and risks.
- Reporting & Synthesis: Gather inputs from internal systems, stakeholders, and external sources, then synthesize information into concise updates, memos, presentations, and recommendations.
- AI-Enabled Research & Analysis: Use AI tools effectively to accelerate research, structure analysis, summarize information, and improve the quality and speed of strategic work.
Operational Structure & Problem Solving
- Ambiguity Management: Bring structure to undefined problems by clarifying objectives, identifying key questions, organizing next steps, and driving work forward with limited direction.
- Operational Cadence & Accountability: Help create lightweight systems for tracking projects, decisions, owners, timelines, and follow-ups across strategic initiatives.
- Resourceful Execution: Approach new problems with curiosity, judgment, and initiative. Be willing to move fluidly between high-level strategic thinking and detailed execution.
Minimum Requirements
- Professional Experience: 3–5 years of experience in operations, strategy, consulting, business operations, or a similarly analytical/project-based role.
- Analytical Strength: Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to structure problems, work with data, identify insights, and support strategic decision-making.
- Data Tool Proficiency: Comfort working in Google Sheets or Excel for analysis, modeling, tracking, and reporting.
- Research Ability: Strong ability to conduct market research, competitive research, and business analysis using a combination of internal data, external sources, and AI tools.
- AI Tool Fluency: Comfortable using AI tools to support research, synthesis, analysis, and execution. Excited to experiment with new tools to improve speed and output quality.
- Project Management Skills: Ability to manage multiple workstreams, coordinate across stakeholders, track progress, and ensure follow-through in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear updates, memos, presentations, and recommendations.
- Comfort with Ambiguity: Ability to operate effectively when problems are not fully defined. Comfortable asking the right questions, developing structure, and moving work forward without step-by-step instructions.
- High-Utility Mindset: A “no task too small” attitude with a willingness to pivot between strategic analysis, project coordination, research, and hands-on operational execution.
