The role
Reporting to our Senior Director, Product & Lifecycle Marketing, we are looking for a talented Senior Product Marketing leader to drive Jobber’s Fintech business. The Senior Manager, Product Marketing (Fintech), will
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Product Marketers and Lifecycle Marketers focused on accelerating Jobber's Fintech business (payments, financing, lending) including:
- Build a high-performing, inclusive team culture that values learning, accountability, and collaboration
- Support career development through regular coaching, feedback, and growth planning
- Help your team navigate ambiguity, prioritize effectively, and grow their short-and long-term strategic impact
- Champion commercial rigor and establish the performance rhythm for the portfolio, including ownership of key Fintech KPIs
- Sit at the intersection of Marketing and Fintech GTM operations, own Marketing-influenced revenue growth for Jobber's Fintech portfolio; adoption, activation, usage, and revenue growth across payments, financing, and capital, and new financial services, are your numbers
- Develop and own the end-to-end Fintech Marketing strategy and associated roadmap with your team, identifying the highest-leverage opportunities, focusing the team's energy there, and translating insights into action plans that balance customer value with Jobber's revenue goals
- Operate as a player/coach, owning overall strategy while modelling the standard and rolling up your sleeves where the business needs it most
- Build a culture of marketing experimentation, actively run tests across segments and metrics to identify what drives Fintech revenue, own the analytics to prove it, be opinionated about evolving the systems needed to scale, and partner with key stakeholders to grow the winners into bigger investment bets over time
- Stay relentlessly customer-first, contribute to qualitative and quantitative research alongside Product, and be ruthless about hunting down the insights that sharpen positioning, messaging, and the Fintech Marketing strategy
- Partner deeply with Fintech leadership, Product Management, Monetization, and Finance teams to identify and recommend product roadmap, pricing, and promotional opportunities, grounded in research and commercial signal: what customers need, what drives revenue, and what creates competitive differentiation in SMB Fintech
- Represent Product & Lifecycle Marketing as the Fintech Marketing subject-matter leader across the organization, collaborating closely with the Fintech leadership, Product, Sales, Success, Risk Operations, Finance, and Analytics to deliver cohesive Fintech experiences.
To be successful, you should have
- Have extensive experience in Product Marketing, Lifecycle Marketing, or Growth Marketing and dedicated people leadership experience, with a strong track record of owning and scaling commercial outcomes, not just launch execution
- Strong understanding of financial services and payments business models in high-growth SaaS environment is highly desirable
- Be best-in-class at positioning and messaging, creating, educating, and influencing teams on how to bring Fintech products to life
- Passionate about creating world-class customer experiences that have a tangible business impact
- Have proven ability to lead, motivate, influence, and navigate complex organizations with multiple cross-functional stakeholders, and build trust quickly across functions
- Be able to self-direct in ambiguous environments, you don't wait for a playbook, you build one
- Be highly analytical, confident making recommendations with incomplete information, and strong bias to action over analysis paralysis
- Think like a business owner, not just a marketer, you naturally gravitate toward "what's the revenue impact?" over "what's the campaign plan?"
- Bring a coaching mindset, you develop people by giving them ownership and holding them accountable to outcomes
- Have a high standard of excellence and contagious pride for the work your team brings to market
Location
We believe great collaboration is intentional, and sometimes that means coming together in person to build, brainstorm, and connect. To support this, the role is open to candidates who are either based in one of our hub cities: Edmonton, Toronto, Vancouver, or Kitchener-Waterloo or who are remotely based in Canada.
Compensation
At Jobber, we believe that compensation should be transparent, fair, and reflective of your experience and growth. This role has a minimum annual salary of $155,200 a midpoint of $177,900 and a maximum salary of $204,500 designed to show the progression from learning the ropes to truly excelling.
We design our compensation to reflect each new hire’s skills, experience against the complexity of the role, ensuring a fair and competitive salary. Our range is intentionally broad to support growth and long-term impact, with fully established hires typically starting around the midpoint. The higher end of the range is reserved for those who have demonstrated deep expertise and lasting contributions, while offers below the midpoint reflect strong potential with room to develop. This approach ensures that compensation aligns with both an individual’s current capabilities and their opportunity for future growth.
